We collect personal information when it is reasonably necessary to provide aged care services, meet our legal and duty-of-care obligations, communicate with residents and their representatives, manage our workforce and volunteers, and support our day-to-day operations.

Depending on your relationship with Manor Court, this may include contact details, dates of birth, financial information, photographs, health information and other sensitive information. Wherever practical, we collect information directly from you and seek consent before collecting sensitive information.

We take reasonable steps to keep personal information accurate, secure and protected from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Information is only used or shared for the purpose for which it was collected, a directly related purpose, with your consent, or where permitted or required by law.

You may ask to access or correct the personal information Manor Court holds about you. You may also raise a concern or make a complaint about how your information has been managed. Privacy complaints are handled free of charge and we generally aim to respond within 30 days.
