Dementia and memory support

We provide the staff and facilities to cope with all levels of memory decline.

Manor Court dementia care exists to enhance the quality of life for people living with dementia. Manor Court has the staff and facilities to cope with all levels of memory decline.

Our focus is on creating safe, nurturing and purposeful environments for those living with memory impairment, and where possible to allow residents to engage and mix to enhance their quality of life.

For those with advanced memory impairment, Manor Court provides a best practice secure unit. The unit includes dedicated activity areas to keep residents stimulated.

Manor Court provides targeted services, specialised staff and facilities to support residents with early to advanced stages of dementia.

Retro-decorating is a way to reassure people with dementia. Strategies see modern technologies replaced by older versions, surrounding dementia sufferers with objects from the past, such as old-style-looking phone boxes to trigger their memory.
