About the role

Manor Court is currently recruiting for Endorsed Enrolled Nurses for AM, PM, and Night Shifts – permanent full time, part time and casual positions available.

Reporting to the Registered Nurse on shift, the EEN is responsible for the provision of excellent clinical care to our residents, providing and coordinating resident care, maintaining concise records, contributing to best practice, and supervising staff and ensuring an effective functioning team.

Key selection criteria:

  • tertiary qualification in nursing and current APRHA registration
  • experience working in an aged care setting (desirable)
  • experience in clinical documentation practice (including care planning and evaluation documentation)
  • ability to communicate with a diverse range of people and lead teams to achieve outcomes for residents
  • capacity to manage a demanding and varied workload
  • proven ability to maintain records and contribute to best practice
  • sound knowledge of the aged care accreditation standards (desirable)
  • proficiency using clinical management systems
    able to commit to a variety of shifts to best support resident needs.


Other requirements:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, prior to commencement
  • Evidence of current Influenza Vaccination
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccination

About the role

Manor Court is currently recruiting for Grade 5 Registered Nurses for PM and Night Shifts – permanent full time, part time and casual positions available.

The role of the Registered Nurse is to manage and oversee all aspects of the delivery of care to residents at Manor Court with the support of the DON. You will be leading and mentoring a team including RNs, ENs and PCWs along with allied health.

You will work alongside our residents and their families/representatives to ensure each resident receives the care they need and want based on their individual choices and preferences. You will be responsible for liaising and working with medical practitioners, specialists and allied health to ensure optimal outcomes for the resident.

We are looking for applicants who are passionate about aged care and have the drive and compassion to ensure that our residents are safe, happy and engaged in all aspects of their care.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse Division 1
  • Minimum of 3 years aged care experience as an RN
  • Minimum of 1 year in the same or similar leadership role
  • Experience in mentoring staff
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Aged Care Standards, Accreditation and ACFI
  • Ability to provide and manage staff training, mentoring and education
  • Good understanding of OH&S, manual handling and infection control and prevention
  • Demonstrated ability to engage in ongoing and new Continuous Improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, investigate and manage all aspects of reporting requirements related to SIRS & Restrictive Practices (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
